Originally from Montreal, in the French-speaking part of Canada, we both caught the travel bug at an early age. After living in Europe and Asia, travelling to over 80 countries, including driving overland from Vienna to Cape Town, we fell in love with the pristine Adriatic, winding country roads and friendly, laid back culture of Istria. Three years ago we decided to make it our forever home.

Our interests include motorcycle touring, horse trekking, road and mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, scuba diving and yoga, as well as history and the culinary arts. We are constantly sampling the local offerings and are happy to share our insider knowledge, make introductions to our curated partner network and even develop detailed plans and itineraries for our guests.

We built Casa Famiglia to host guests based on our years of travel experience, ruthlessly subjugating contemporary architecture and interior design to comfort and convenience. It has been a great challenge. Hosting travellers is now our full time vocation.
